• Clive Sutton appoints American Car City as distributor

  Clive Sutton has appointed US vehicle importer American Car City as the official distributor of its range of Sutton Mustangs in France.
  Sutton’s partnership with American Car City, which has recently opened a €6m (£5.3m) facility outside Paris to join its existing operation in Lyon, which has a total of 200 American cars in stock.

• Ben appoints IMI CEO Steve Nash to head up trustee board

  Motor industry charity Ben has appointed IMI CEO Steve Nash as chair of its Board of Trustees.
  Nash, who has served on Ben’s board since September 2014, takes over as chair from Robin Woolcock who has held the position for four years.

• Vertu announces head of fleet for Mercedes-Benz business

  Vertu Motors has announced the appointment of a new head of fleet for its Mercedes-Benz dealerships.
  Damien Rigby has more than 18 years’ experience working in the fleet industry, with 12 in the leasing market.
  He has held a number of senior positions at Mercedes-Benz UK and most recently he was strategic business manager at Arval.

• City Auction Group takes on new business development manager

  The City Auction Group has taken on Emma Woodward as new business development manager for its site at Rockingham in Northamptonshire.
  She joins from Aston Barclay, where she oversaw dealer group relationships. Prior to that Woodward was a manufacturer buyer development executive at British Car Auctions.

• MotorVise (Automotive) Ltd appoint Andy Drinkel as Head of Dealer Sales.

• Peugeot UK appoints new marketing director

  Peugeot has appointed Martin Moll as UK marketing director, following the move by Mark Pickles to the groups Free2Move Lease business as commercial director.
  Moll has worked for 20 years in the automotive sector. He has previously held the positions of European marketing director for Nissan in Paris and European marketing director for Honda, based in the UK.

• Lloyds consolidates Black Horse and Lex Autolease management

  Lloyds Banking Group’s Black Horse and Lex Autolease motor businesses will be run under a single combined leadership structure from next month, with Black Horse managing director Richard Jones becoming managing director of Lloyds’ Motor and Leasing division.

• Vertu appoints ex-Vauxhall retail sales boss as operations director

  He joins the company from Vauxhall Motors where he held the position of retail sales director.

  Howson joined Vauxhall in 1994 as an aftersales business analyst and, from 2006, rose through the ranks of sales district manager, regional operations manager, national sales manager, marketing programmes manager and currently national major group manager.

• Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has appointed Rob Holdcroft
