SsangYong has appointed four new dealers to its growing UK network
The new dealers are Broach Hill Garage in Driffield, Esplanade on the Isle of Wight, Fun Motors in Lower Darwen and Unity in Tredington
The Korean brand is actively looking for dealers to represent the brand in Birmingham (North), Bristol, Inverness, Liverpool, Oxford, Portsmouth, Southampton, Swansea, Teesside and Telford.
To help speed-up the network roll-out it has appointed Justin Lamba as dealer recruitment manager.
Lamba was formerly the brand’s dealer commercial manager for South East England, and has previous sales, business development and customer support experience with from a number of brands, including DaimlerChrysler, Daihatsu and Mondial Assistance.
“The arrival of Rexton and Musso has resulted in significant levels of interest in our franchise from prospective dealers,” said Nick Laird, managing director of SsangYong Motor UK.
“The huge improvement in the perception of our vehicles especially as expressed by the media, means we are engaging with new dealer partners who particularly appreciate our straightforward business model and focus on dealer profitability.”
