Marshall Motors appoints chief financial officer

Marshall Motor Holdings has appointed Richard Blumberger as chief financial officer of the company.
Blumberger is currently director of group finance at Mitie and previously held senior finance roles at Engie and Balfour Beatty. He joins Marshall in January 2019.

    The Korean brand is actively looking for dealers to represent the brand in Birmingham (North), Bristol, Inverness, Liverpool, Oxford, Portsmouth, Southampton, Swansea, Teesside and Telford.

    Mike Whittington has joined Polestar to lead the company’s global sales operations.
    He joins Polestar with 20 years’ experience in global infrastructure, e-commerce strategy and new electric vehicle introductions at Jaguar Land Rover, PSA, Mercedes-Benz and Toyota.
    Polestar wants to eschew the traditional dealer model and is looking at new retail concepts, including the so called Polestar Spaces.

    The MFG Group continues its senior executive recruitment programme with the announcement that Tony Jones has joined the business as National Sales Manager – UK.
    Tony replaces Rob Draper (Acting NSM–UK) from September 1st in a move which sees Draper take on the role for expanding the company’s ever-growing presence in Asia Pacific. Jones is the latest of several senior key appointments in 2018 as the UK-based automotive training and consultancy business rapidly grows its team of industry experts.

    Carwow - the online car buying website which last year raised $39 million in Series C funding - has appointed Phil Lloyd, previous Head of Advertising at Paddy Power, as Chief Marketing Officer to add further strategic direction to its leadership team.

    Vertu Motors has appointed Andrew Goss to the board as an independent non-executive director.
    Goss brings to the group 39 years of experience in the automotive sector, having held senior roles in Citroen UK, Nissan Europe, Lexus (GB), Toyota (GB), Porsche and most recently Jaguar Land Rover.
    Between 2010 and 2013 he headed Jaguar Land Rover’s business in North America as its president and CEO.
